The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has begged Nigerians to be more patience with President Bola Tinubu to enable him fix the economy.

He assured that the ongoing rejig in the system would bring joy for Nigerians, saying that the president need prayers to succeed in the task.

Oyetola who spoke in his hometown, Iragbiji in Boripe local government area on Thursday, during the commissioning of ultra-modern Aragbiji palace, said the difficulty being faced was as a result of what has been on ground.

According to him, “I want to implore our people to exercise a lot of patience, President Bola Tinubu is doin  g a lot, he means well for the country but we are going to have difficult moments considering where we are coming from.

“We need a lot of patience to get over the initial problem, I believe that their would be light at the end of the tunnel, let Nigeria continue to pray for him, for knowledge and good health, I have no doubt that he will take us to where we expect which is the promise land.”

The Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Olabomi, said the project which began over six years ago has gulped about N450 million, saying that about N100 million still required to complete the project.

He commended the donours and committee led by Oyetola, noting that the building was earlier inhabited by late Aragbiji and was demolished to give it a befitting and modern outlook.
