In celebration of the 60th Birthday of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s birthday, supporters of the former Enugu Governor visited Mother Louisa Charity Home.

Adorned in white attire which is the signature colour of the former Governor, the team lead my former General Manager of Enugu Signage Board, Ike Ezugwu donated food items worth millions of Naira to the elated management and children of the home.

In his speech, Ezugwu told the children of the home and the management that the visit is in honour of the former Governor whom he described as “humane leader.”

“Our former governor is a leader who derives pleasure in helping the needy and he has demonstrated this before becoming governor, when he’s governor and now he’s no longer on the saddle as the number one citizen of Enugu State.

“He has touched a lot of lives including those of us here and to mark his day of birth, we’re doing that thing he loves to do.”

He admonished the children at the home to continue to pray to God to give the former Governor long life and grant his silent wishes.

He also expressed delight that the children are in great spirit despite the challenges and thanked they’re handlers

A member of the management of the charity home who spoke on behalf of the founder, Mrs. Louisa Ekwe, expressed their delight with the gesture and thanked the supporters of Ugwuanyi and the supporters of the former governor for remembering the downtrodden.

Some of the items donated to them includes; bags of rice, Garri, Beans, Noddles, juice, groundnut oil, detergents, soaps, pampas, Tissues, Biscuits, drinks, etc.

Other supporters of the former Governor that were present during the presentation are; PDP BOT member, Okoro Nneke, Rita Eberechulwu Anigbogu, Amoge Ngwu, Dr. Obasi Chikezie, Comrade Chukwuma Stella Nneamaka, Cmr. Akpa Francis.JP, Ozioko Chidimma Domitila and Umeh Clinton C.
