President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has welcomed the news of the release of the Kuriga school children in Kaduna State as well as the release of pupils of a Tsangaya school in Sokoto State, sizing the importance of collaboration between the federal and state governments for expected outcomes on security-related issues.
Tinubu applauded state governments, the National Security Adviser, the Security Agencies, and the Kaduna State Government for the dispatch and diligence in which the situation was handled.
President Tinubu noted that emerging urgency, meticulous attention, and tireless dedication are critical to optimal outcomes in cases of mass abductions.
The President’s Spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, made this known in a statement while assuring Nigerians that President Tinubu’s administration is deploying detailed strategies to ensure that Nigerian schools remain safe sanctuaries of learning, not lairs for wanton abductions.
