The political power play in Rivers State might be tilting towards the incumbent, Siminalayi Fubara as the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said that the caretaker committee list of tye oil rich state will be revisited.
Recall that Fubara had rejected the list which had all the loyalists of the former Governor and Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike making over 80 percent of the caretaker committee.
However, in a press statement released on Wednesday night by the National Publicity Secretary Hon. Debo Ologunagba said the PDP Governors’ Forum has directed NWC to seek a political solution.
“The issue of Rivers State Caretaker Committee List was raised at the meeting of PDP Governors and the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) and it was resolved that a political solution should be applied to resolve all the issues related thereto.
“Consequently, the PDP Governors’ Forum directed that the National Working Committee of the PDP revisit the issue of the Rivers State Caretaker Committee List.”
