The member representing Igbo Eze North constituency I in Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Ejike Eze on Thursday, solved the age-long problem facing Amube community in Umuozzi ward 4 by providing various tents for them in their market.

Hon. Eze who’s also the Chief Whip of the State Assembly while handing over the project to the elated community on Thursday, said this is in fulfillment of one of the promises made to them during his campaign.

“I still remember vividly that on the 21st of October 2023, i promised the people of Amube, the inhabitants of ancestral home of great Enugu Ezikeoba that i would build tents for them in the proposed new Afọr Amube to give the traders shelter from the unavoidable scorching sun and drenching rain fall.

“My promise isn’t a mare statement and I assure you that we’re just getting started and I assure you of people oriented representation anchored on the welfare of the people.”

He encouraged them to take care of the market so it can continue to “grow from strength to strength and metamorphose into Afor Ezike because Amube remains the heart of Enugu Ezike.”
