Hon. Stainless Nwodo has commended Enugu Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah for paying giving some of the abandoned projects in the state the a breath of new life.
It would be recalled that Governor Mbah has already commenced work on the Enugu International Conference Centre (ICC) which has been abandoned for over 15 years.
Also, the contract for the renovation of the Hotel Presidential which has been moribond for over 20 years was awarded by the state government over the weekend.
Reacting to these development, Nwodo, who represented Igboetiti/Uzouwani federal constituency, praised Mbah for the gesture, describing it as “bravery and responsible leadership in the state.”
He also commended the “reticulation and rehabilitation of tap water in Enugu, which is a hallmark of the saying that governance is continuous.”
He commended the governor for restoring the old glory of the Coal City State while describing him “as the leader ndi Enugu needs now.”
He also seized the opportunity to reechoe that his decamping to PDP is anchored on “his admiration of the purposeful leadership of the governor,” and called on well meaning Enugu State indigenes “irrespective of their political affiliations to rally round the governor Maka odi mma Ndi Enugu.”
