The Deputy Minority Leader of Enugu State House of Assembly and also the member representing Awgu North State Constituency, Rt Hon Jane Eneh, has assured her constituents that more developmental projects will be attracted to enhance their growth.

Rt Hon Eneh gave this assurance on Tuesday when the ìgwè elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr, paid her a courtesy call at her office in Enugu State House of Assembly complex, Independence Layout, Enugu.

She stated that there are lots of works on the ground to build more hospitals, schools, roads, amongst other basic amenities for the constituency in line with the utmost needs of various communities.

Hon Eneh congratulated Chief Ogbonna on his emergence as the ìgwè elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom, a community she said is renowned for its commitment to good governance.

She emphasized the importance of teamwork amongst all traditional rulers under her constituency, an act she said will bring more development.

“I am happy to have you today in my office.”

“As your servant, I am always elated when engaged with my people, and this visit is very timely.”

“Your community is one that is known for its unwavering commitment to good governance and zero tolerance for violence in the state.”

“Congratulations once more on your victory, and I believe you will create more history for your community.”

“As a legislator, it is my duty to make laws that will benefit our people and also ensure that we have the government’s presence across our constituency.”

“So far, there are plans on the ground to increase the number of schools, hospitals, road networks, amongst other basic amenities for our people.”

“Currently, smart school construction as well as type 2 hospitals are ongoing across some wards in our constituency, all thanks to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.”

“All these are in addition to what we have achieved before, and I want to assure you and our people that we are committed to making our constituency a place to reckon with.”

In his remarks, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr thanked the lawmaker for the audience granted to him and his team.

He stated that the visit was for the purpose of familiarization and also an opportunity to thank her for the facilitation of a school building in his community, empowerment of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Community, facilitation of Government works for his people, amongst others.

He emphasized the importance of citing a type 2 hospital in the community which is one of their basic needs, construction of Umuike – Ugwoma – Ibite Road, amongst others.

Chief Ogbonna also commended the lawmaker and her colleagues for making good laws for the state, saying that history will forever remember them.

He also reiterated the commitment of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Community in partnering with the Government, her agencies, private individuals, non-Governmental organizations in the development of the community as well as the state.
