Videos making waves on social media have shown some schools have started reciting the reinstated national anthem “Nigeria we hail thee”
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, passed into law the bill calling for the restoration of the old national anthem which was recently passed by the National Assembly.
According to a video shared on X by one Oyindamola, a school said to be in Lagos State, was seen playing the national anthem during their morning assembly.
In another video shared by one Imran Muhammad, footage captured Justice and Peace Primary School students in Ogbere-Ijebu, Ogun State, chanting the first stanza of ‘Nigeria, We Hail Thee’ anthem during morning assembly.
