The Presidency has reacted to the fall of President Bola Tinubu during Democracy Day celebration on Wednesday, describing the incident as a “mild misstep and no issue.”
“Mr President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped,” Mr Olusegun, however, said on X that “It was a mild misstep. No issues.”
According to Mr Olusegun, Mr Tinubu immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds.
The president had slipped when he attempted to climb the parade truck at the Eagle Square during Democracy Day celebration.
Mr Olusegun’s statement, however, clear doubts that the President might have sustained injury due to the fall.
