Two suspected tricycle thieves identified as Friday Ogbu, a 31-year-old male and Onovo Sunday Udochukwu, a 34-year-old male has been remanded in Enugu Correctional Centre.
Their remand follows their arrest and arraignment by the operatives of the Enugu State Police Command.
They were arrested by Operatives serving in the Enugu Area Command for allegedly stealing a tricycle from where it was parked at Achara Layout, Enugu, on June 22, 2024.
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Daniel Ndukwe said; “The tricycle was recovered upon the arrest of the suspects, while the owner of the tricycle was located and he identified tricycle as his.
“The suspects were arraigned on a two-count charges of conspiracy and stealing in the Enugu South Magistrate Court, and were remanded in the Correctional Custodial Centre.”
