President Bola Tinubu has announced appointments of Director Generals of Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA) and National Productivity Centre (NPC) as well as a new Executive Secretary for the National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF).
A statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale said those appointed include: Mr. Umar Ibrahim Mohammed who was appointed as the new Director-General of (NIHSA); Mr. Baffa Dan Agundi as the new Director-General of NPC and Mr. Tosin Adeyanju as the new Executive Secretary of NLTF.
Ngelale said Mr. Mohammed is an architect, and also, a construction technology and environment professional while Mr. Dan Agundi is a former majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly, as well as the Principal Registrar of the Kano State High Court of Justice and Mr. Adeyanju is an accomplished administrator, and good governance advocate.
He added that: “The President expects improved outcomes in the agency’s/Centre’s objective of operating and maintaining hydrological stations nationwide, as well as carrying out groundwater exploration and monitoring using various scientific techniques in order to provide hydrological and hydrogeological data needed for planning, design, execution and management of water resources and allied projects.
