The chairman of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB), Dr. G.O.C. Ajah, mni, has been made to step aside from his position.
Briefing his staff at the office this morning, Dr. Ajah said the state government had conducted a minor reshuffling of the Board with immediate effect.
To this end, Dr. Hyginus Bankho, who was before now, the Member 2 of the Board takes over as the new chairman.
Also, Journalist101 gathered that Dr. Amaka S. Ngene, who was Member 1 of the Board has been moved to the Science, Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB) as the Chairman.
No reason has been given by the state government for Dr. Ajah’s removal.
It is not also clear yet if he is being considered for a higher position in the state or beyond.
