Preparations have been finalized for President Bola Tinubu to commence his visit to France this Monday.

In a terse statement released on Sunday evening, Presidential Media Aide, Ajuri Ngelale indicated that the President will be departing from Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Ngelale stated that the President will return to the country following a short business trip to France.

The statement, however, did not disclose the purpose behind the President’s journey.

Remember that the President had prohibited unauthorized government officials from attending the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which is typically held in the United States.

The presidency has based its directive on the necessity of curtailing excessive governance expenses, particularly due to past incidents where unauthorized officials have exploited these trips for personal gains.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, issued a directive to government officials during a one-day retreat organized by the State House management for Heads of Agencies under the presidency.
