Three young Enugu entrepreneurs have received ₦4.5 million to support their businesses following their sterling performances at the closing event of the Enugu SME Bootcamp.
The SME Bootcamp event which was organised by the Enugu SME Agency, in collaboration with 234Finance and Voice of the East provided an opportunity to celebrate the innovative spirit of local entrepreneurs.
The event showcased the best of Enugu entrepreneurial community. Highlights included a captivating keynote speech on the power of collaboration among businesses to build stronger brands and drive collective success, and an engaging panel discussion that sparked thought-provoking conversations on driving sustainable growth and innovation in the South East.
The main event; the pitching competition, featured groundbreaking ideas judged by an esteemed panel: Hon. Arinze Chilo Offiah (SPA to Governor Mbah on Digital Economy and MSMEs, DG of Enugu SME Center), Chinny Okoye (Group CEO of Eastside Ventures & Founder of The Women International), Dr. Munachino Obinna Eze (Founder of Mina Real Estate Limited), Ejike Egbuagu (Founder of Moneda Invest), and Ezinne Nwazulu (Founder of 234Finance).
A terse statement made available to JOURNALIST101, Hon. Chilo-Offiah said: “Our participants presented their innovative ideas with passion and determination. Angela Jidechukwu Nwabueze of Jelapetra Farms won the top prize of 2 million Naira. Chibuike Nnebe of Astrae claimed the runner-up prize of 1.5 million Naira, while Okereke Kate of Kavita Foods won the 2nd runner-up prize of 1 million Naira.
“Their dedication and creativity were truly remarkable, reflecting the potential of our local entrepreneurs.
