In line with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision to transform Enugu into a technology hub, the State government, through the Enugu SME Center, has begun training 250 youths in Product Design and Web3.
A terse statement from Hon. Arinze Chilo Offiah, Special Adviser to Governor Mbah on Digital Economy and MSMEs, as well as the Director General of the Enugu SME Center, indicated that the training is being conducted in collaboration with Genesys, Learnable, and Capitis as part of the Learnable Training Program.
Hon. Chilo-Offiah noted that the training, which will last for three months, “exemplifies our dedication to empowering the youth with top-tier digital skills.” He emphasized, “At Enugu SME Center, we are steadfast in our commitment to the growth and success of Enugu’s citizens.”
Expressing his enthusiasm for the youths engaging in this valuable endeavor, he thanked Governor Mbah for his unwavering support and provided further details about the training schedule.
“It is incredibly rewarding to see these bright minds fully engaged in learning product design and Web3 through our hybrid training sessions. The program includes virtual classes on weekdays and in-person sessions on weekends, offering a flexible and comprehensive learning experience.
“We take immense pride in investing in the future of Ndi Enugu by equipping them with the tools and opportunities necessary to excel in the digital space.
