As the Enugu State Council election approaches, the People’s Democratic Party’s chairmanship candidate for Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, Hon. Obiora Obeagu, has launched a 25-member campaign organization for the upcoming election.

At the inauguration event held in Ikem, the headquarters of Isi-Uzo LGA, Obeagu, the immediate past chairman of the Council, praised the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, for his exceptional leadership. He remarked that the governor’s achievements have revitalized the PDP’s appeal.

“The governor has honored his campaign promises, delivering landmark projects that benefit not only the people of Enugu State but particularly those of Isi-Uzo.

“From Mgbuji to Aguamede, Eha-Amufu to Umualor, and across our 11 wards, Isi-Uzo has turned into a hub of development.

“I express my gratitude to God, our esteemed governor, and our party members for enabling my team and me to contest in the September 21 election, as we aim to build upon the good work he has begun in Isi-Uzo,” he declared.

Hon. Obeagu urged the members of the Isi-Uzo PDP Campaign Organization to fulfill their responsibilities with utmost diligence and effectiveness to ensure a comprehensive victory for the party in the council election. He also highlighted the necessity of unity and hard work to achieve the party’s goals.

In response, the Chair of the Campaign Organization, Hon. Uchechukwu Ugwueze, reassured party stakeholders of the campaign team’s dedication to securing a decisive victory, promising to win all 11 councillorship seats along with the chairmanship in the election set for the 21st of this month.

Ugwueze, also a member of the state Executive Committee, called on all PDP supporters to remain committed and determined in their efforts, emphasizing that a triumph for the PDP would translate into a triumph for the people of Isi-Uzo.

The event was attended by various party stakeholders and supporters, including the newly elected chairman of the PDP in Isi-Uzo LGA, Hon. Jacob Abonyi; the Deputy Chair of the Campaign Organization, Hon. Ogechukwu Nnamani; former chairmen and vice chairmen of Isi-Uzo LGA; and the new Ward Executives.

The gathering was filled with enthusiasm and celebration, as party members expressed their confidence in a victorious outcome in the upcoming election.
