Movie producer and actor Chris Bassey has embarked on a new career in plumbing after relocating from Nigeria to Canada.
In a live chat with Daddy Freeze on Instagram, he shared that his new job offers better pay than tech positions and allows for a more relaxed lifestyle.
Daddy Freeze prompted, “I know you as a producer and actor, so what are you doing in America?”
Bassey responded, “I’m working in construction here. I’m a plumber.”
Surprised by the actor’s unexpected career shift despite his fame, Daddy Freeze pressed further.
Bassey explained in pidgin, “In the last seven months, the province I’ve visited just on weekends in Canada, even someone in tech wouldn’t be able to afford it. Here, I can’t speak for the UK or US.”
