Today, I stand at the brink of a new era, ready to embark on a journey that will redefine the future of Obollo Afor Ward as I unveil my manifesto.
I reaffirm my dedication to the values and principles that have guided me thus far. This document represents a promise to myself, to one another, and to the people of Obollo Afor Ward whom I serve.
My manifesto outlines a bold vision for Obollo Afor Ward, one that prioritizes meaningful values and principles.
I envision a future where desirable outcomes are attainable, and I am committed to turning this vision into reality.
My Campaign Manifesto:
EMPOWERING OBOLLO-AFOR WARD: A COVENANT FOR CHANGE
This manifesto will steer my representation in the Legislative Assembly.
The role of a Councillor is no small task. I bring a wealth of social, political, and academic experience, ready to undertake the considerable responsibilities ahead with dedication and commitment.
A Councillor embodies the collective aspirations of the people, conveying their needs to attract government interventions that will be beneficial to them.
Therefore, I pledge to:
1. Advocate for local government intervention on our major village roads through grading, especially during the upcoming festive period.
2. In our first term, we supported 15 indigent children from the five villages in Obollo Afor by paying their school fees. If re-elected, we will double this number to 30.
3. Provide essential medications to our health centers.
4. Organize medical outreach programs across the five villages of Obollo Afor Ward to assist the sick and less privileged.
5. Sponsor at least 50 indigent students to take WAEC and JAMB examinations free of charge.
6. Assist our market women, especially the Cashew Women Association, in securing government grants and loans to enhance their businesses.
7. Implement skill acquisition programs to empower at least 50 youth in Obollo, focusing on digital skills, fashion design, makeup, welding, and more.
8. Donate a minimum of 50 bags of fertilizers to our farmers each year for two years.
9. Collaborate closely with the Local Government Chairman to strengthen the Neighborhood Watch across all five villages.
10. Finally, engage our elders and stakeholders from the five villages in a united effort to strengthen Obollo Afor Ward.
Together, let’s build a brighter future for Obollo Afor Ward.
I urge all members of Obollo Afor Ward to join me on this journey. Together, let us strive for a brighter future, guided by the principles outlined in this manifesto.
Hon. Dr . Nnamdi Odo
(Councillorship Candidate PDP 4 Obollo Afor ward)
