The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a wanted notice for one Ibrahim Mohammed, in connection with the alleged theft and illegal possession of a vehicle belonging to the agency.

In a post on its social media platforms on Friday, Wale Oyewale, the Head of Media and Publicity, revealed that Mohammed, 26, is a resident of Jada Local Government Area in Adamawa State. However, the EFCC did not disclose whether he is affiliated with the Commission in any capacity.

The spokesperson also withheld details on how Mohammed managed to take possession of the agency’s vehicle.

“The public is hereby notified that IBRAHIM MOHAMMED, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an alleged case of theft and illegal possession of the Commission’s vehicle.

“Mohammed is 26 and hails from Jada Local Government Area in Adamawa State. His last known address is 56 Japa Bariki Road, Adamawa State,” Oyewale stated.

He urged anyone with information regarding Mohammed’s whereabouts to contact the EFCC at its offices in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja, or to reach out to the nearest police station or security agency.
