The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2024 SSCE internal results.
On Thursday, September 19, NECO’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, shared this information during a press briefing in Minna.
Wushishi also revealed that NECO has blacklisted 21 supervisors across 12 states and de-recognized one school in Ekiti State for widespread cheating in two core subjects and one science subject.
The supervisors faced blacklisting for a range of misconduct, including poor supervision, aiding and abetting cheating, abscondment, extortion, drunkenness, and negligence.
He stated, “Forty schools were identified as participating in whole-school mass cheating across 17 states. These schools will be summoned to the council for discussions, after which appropriate sanctions will be imposed.”
