In the wake of the successful September 21st council elections in Enugu State, the forum of councillors has extended heartfelt congratulations to the 17 Local Government Area Chairmen and 260 ward Councillors.
In a statement signed by the forum’s Chairman, Hon. Dr. Nnamdi Odo, he remarked that their victory “is a testament to the overwhelming goodwill our party enjoys at the grassroots level.
“We also extend our gratitude to the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr Peter Mbah, for facilitating free, fair, and credible elections in the state.
“The governor’s exemplary performance—highlighted by ongoing projects such as Smart Schools, hospitals, and ten-kilometer roads in each ward—has inspired a strong mandate from our constituents.
“Indeed, our Tomorrow is Here, and we are committed to aligning our efforts with the governor’s developmental agenda to enhance our economy and ensure tangible benefits of governance reach our rural communities.
“We also commend the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) for conducting one of the most transparent and credible elections in the history of the state. We encourage other state electoral bodies to observe and learn from Enugu’s example.
“Finally, we thank the citizens of Enugu State for placing their trust in us. We pledge to draw from the wisdom of His Excellency, Governor Peter Mbah, to introduce transformative innovations in our respective Local Government Areas and wards. Expect significant change across all 260 wards—our tomorrow is indeed here.”
