The presidency has announced that a cabinet reshuffle is on the horizon.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, shared this update with journalists at the State House on Wednesday, September 25.

Speaking at a press briefing alongside O’tega Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Onanuga mentioned that there is currently no set timeline for when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will implement the reshuffle.

It is noteworthy that President Tinubu appointed his ministers in August of last year.

In the meantime, President Tinubu has directed his ministers to actively promote the achievements of his administration.

Onanuga remarked that Tinubu encouraged the ministers to “go out there and publicize the administration’s successes.” He acknowledged that some ministers have been reluctant to speak publicly, stating, “Many Nigerians believe the president isn’t doing much, while the government is actually making significant strides.”

The president has stressed the importance of effectively communicating these accomplishments to the public.
