The Senate has confirmed 21 nominees as federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The upper chamber ratified the appointments following a report presented by Senator Yahaya Abdullahi of Kebbi North.

President Bola Tinubu appointed these nominees in August and subsequently sought the Senate’s approval.

Abdullahi, who chairs the joint committee on national planning, economic affairs, and finance, stated that all the nominees are qualified for public office.

The former majority leader emphasized that these appointments ensure every state in the country is represented on the RMAFC Board.
