The entire Nigeria has been plunged into darkness following the collapse of the National Grid.
Confirming the development, an account on X “National Grid” that gives a real-time update on the supply to distribution companies said there’s no supply to all the 11 DISCOS.
This is the eight time the National Grid is collapsing in 2024 and the third time in less than one week.
This comes on the heels of the boast by the minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu that the power sector has improved significantly and Nigerians are no longer complaining about the high cost of fuel.
