President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after an 18-day absence for his annual leave.
During his vacation, the president visited the United Kingdom and France, landing at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja aboard Air Force One at approximately 7:15 PM on Saturday.
He initially departed Abuja on October 2 for what was intended to be a two-week leave.
In a statement released at the time by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), it was noted that President Tinubu planned to utilize the two weeks as a working vacation and a time for reflection on his administration’s economic reforms.
The statement also indicated that he would return to the country once his leave concluded.
