The crisis rocking the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP keeps getting worse by the day as more leaders are gearing to leave the leaking umbrella.

The latest is the former Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam who cautioned the party against treating him and his supporters like stranded people.

The former Benue North Senator who spoke in Makurdi, the state capital on Monday, maintained that he and his teeming supporters have other alternatives than the PDP..

He said; “collectively, you people will decide on the way forward.

“If we think there’s an alternative we explore those alternatives. But it will be a collective decision, It will not be my own decision,” he said.

Suswam added, “We will come back here and meet and take a collective decision; if all fails. So let people not treat us as if we are stranded and there are no alternatives. No person is stranded here.”

Suswam who leads one of the factions in Benue PDP also took a swipe on the national chairman of the PDP, alleging that Damagum Illiya has provided the worst national leadership for the party.
