The immediate past Minister of Women Affairs, Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has reacted to her sack by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday.
Journalist101 reported that president Tinubu during the Federal Executive Council Meeting on Wednesday, relieved 5 ministers in his cabinet of their duties. The president reassigned 10 others to new ministries while announcing the appointment of seven new others.
However, reacting to her dismissal in a post made on her X account, Barr. Kennedy Ohanenye who had her own fair share of controversies that trail public office holders, thanked the president and his wife for the opportunity given to her, while declaring here commitment to serving Nigeria whenever she’s called upon to do so.
“I write to express my sincere gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity to serve as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It has been an honor and a privilege to contribute to the development of our Nation.
“I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for her invaluable guidance and support during my tenure as Minister of Women Affairs. Her kindness and encouragement have been instrumental to my success.
