Former President Donald Trump took the stage in West Palm Beach, Florida, rallying his supporters and lauding tech billionaire Elon Musk as a formidable force in American politics.

“We have a new star; a star is born,” Trump proclaimed to an enthusiastic crowd. “Elon. He is an incredible individual.”

He continued to describe Musk as “a character, a special guy, a super genius. We must protect our geniuses; we don’t have many of them.”

Trump commended the Tesla CEO for his unwavering support throughout the campaign, particularly highlighting Musk’s active involvement in Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state.

Musk, the world’s wealthiest man, invested over $130 million into Trump’s campaign and other Republican causes, significantly bolstering the party’s performance in pivotal races.

The billionaire pledged that his super PAC, America PAC, would continue its efforts after the election, backing conservative candidates and initiatives.

Early Wednesday morning, major networks projected Trump as the victor in Pennsylvania, securing the state’s essential electoral votes and effectively sidelining Vice President Kamala Harris from a viable path to the presidency.

This result has placed Trump on the verge of an historic return to office, with many labeling it a political comeback of monumental significance.

Senator JD Vance, Trump’s vice-presidential pick, echoed this sentiment, calling the outcome “the greatest political comeback in American history.”

After his departure from office in 2021 amid controversy surrounding the Capitol riot, Trump is poised to become only the second individual to lose the White House and reclaim it.

During the rally, Trump assured supporters that Republicans would hold onto control of the House of Representatives, even though official projections had yet to confirm this outcome.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, whom Trump praised as “doing a great job,” also appeared onstage, reinforcing the Republican party’s confidence in their renewed momentum.

With Trump on the cusp of returning to the White House, he expressed gratitude to his allies and supporters for helping him achieve what many considered impossible, setting the stage for a new chapter in his political journey.
