Seyi Tinubu’s campaign team has launched a biographical documentary in anticipation of his 2027 governorship bid in Lagos State.
Over the weekend, the documentary circulated widely on various social media platforms, showcasing the president’s son’s life story. It emphasizes his education, career, and humanitarian efforts, as well as his commitment to youth development in Nigeria.
This release follows several endorsements from groups positioning Seyi Tinubu as a potential successor to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2027.
On Tuesday, the Coalition of Nigerian Youth Leaders formally endorsed him in Owerri, the capital of Imo State.
He was also backed by Friends of Seyi, a group that underscores his vision and intellectual capability to lead Nigeria’s commercial hub.
However, APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe criticized the wave of endorsements in a Facebook post, claiming they are an attempt to undermine the president.
“Who are these faceless people pushing Seyi Tinubu for Lagos governor? This is a needless distraction,” said Mr. Igbokwe. “Their true aim is to undermine PBAT. Ruling Lagos is not a job for boys.”the job of boys.”
