The Enugu State Government, through the Enugu SME Center, has successfully completed the SME ITF-NECA Vocational Training Program which saw the training of 150 youths on the plumbing and electrical installation and maintenance at the third edition of the Amadeo Business Summit.
The training programme was in collaboration with esteemed partners including the COPEN Group, Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), and C-STEMP Skills Training Centre.
A statement by the DG, Enugu SME Center Arinze Chilo-Offiah said; “Over 150 participants were trained and certified, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to youth empowerment.
“The event was filled with enthusiasm as participants like Ugwuoke Ifesinachi Daniel, Nwachukwu Chioma Favour, and Illochi Stephen Nnamdi expressed their excitement upon completing the training.
Chilo-Offiah who’s also the Special Adviser to the Governor on MSMEs and Digital Economy thanked the Governor Peter Mbah for his support as well as the trainers and partners for their dedication and support.
“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated trainers and official partners—the COPEN Group, ITF, NECA, and C-STEMP Skills Training Centre—for their unwavering support and expertise.
