Bill to establish the Federal Institute of Entrepreneurship and Technical Skills Development, Osisioma, Abia State, sponsored by Senator Austin Akobundu, passes First Reading at the Senate.
The Bill which is inspired by the legislative mission of Senator Austin Akobundu to continue to leverage the comparative advantage of localities in Abia Central Senatorial District, will further drive the development of entrepreneural and technical prowess of the people of Osisioma LGA and its contiguous city of Aba.
Recall that Senator Austin Akobundu had earlier sponsored bills for the establishment of National Sport University, Nsulu; the establishment of Federal Institute of Information and Communications Technology, Umuahia North LGA; and the establishment of Federal College of Health Technology, Ikwuano LGA. The latest is the one for the establishment of a Federal Institute of Entrepreneurship and Technical Skills Development, Osisioma LGA.
All the above are testaments to Senator Akobundu’s unrelenting commitment to his human capital development mission for the people of Abia Central Senatorial District.
