Yesterday, the Naira fell to N1,668 per dollar in the parallel market, a decline from N1,600 per dollar on Wednesday.
Conversely, in the official foreign exchange market, the Naira appreciated to N1,534.6 per dollar.
Data from the Daily Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), published by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), revealed that the indicative exchange rate for the Naira decreased from N1,545 per dollar on Wednesday, marking an appreciation of N10.4.
As a result, the gap between the parallel market rate and the NFEM rate expanded to N133.4 per dollar, up from N55 per dollar on Wednesday.
