The Umuchigbo-Iji Nike community recently celebrated a momentous occasion with a heartfelt Thank You visit to Chief Donald Ekete, the esteemed CEO of Eketeson Construction Company, in recognition of his transformative contributions to their area.
The joyous gathering highlighted the community’s deep appreciation for the newly constructed asphalt roads, which had long been neglected and left in disrepair for decades. The people of Umuchigbo-Iji Nike expressed their gratitude, acknowledging Chief Ekete as not only their beloved son but also a committed supporter who has empowered numerous local residents through various educational and economic initiatives. His recent act of building essential infrastructure has solidified his reputation as “one in a million” in their eyes.
During the visit, Chief Donald Ekete graciously thanked God for His blessings and the strength to undertake such significant projects for his community.
He also recognised the vital role played by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah, in creating a conducive environment for business development and for his exemplary leadership that has positioned Enugu State as a beacon of administrative excellence in Nigeria and even Africa.
