The New Enugu group has described as a “major milestone in the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Governor of Enugu State”, the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Enugu State on Saturday, 4th January 2025.
JOURNALIST101.COM recalls that the president was in Enugu over the weekend for a one-day visit during which he commissioned numerous projects undertaken by the Mbah-led administration.
New Enugu group in a statement by its Convener, Barr. Henry Okeke stated that; “The President’s visit was a testament to the laudable projects undertaken by the Mbah-led administration, which has transformed Enugu into a hub of development and innovation.
Barr. Okeke highlighted some of the projects he said thrilled the president to include; The Pro-Touch on the Lion Building and the Enugu Metropolis: A historic landmark that has been restored to its former glory, showcasing the administration’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage.
The Command and Control Centre: A state-of-the-art facility that has enhanced the state’s security infrastructure, ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens.
The International Conference Centre: A world-class venue that has positioned Enugu as a premier destination for national and international events.
The Smart Green School: A futuristic educational institution that has set a new standard for learning in Nigeria, emphasizing sustainability and innovation.
The Multiple Road Projects: Construction and reconstruction of access roads across different LGAs and Communities in Enugu State.
The Health Centers: The multiple Type-3 primary healthcare centres across the three senatorial zones, indeed promises a healthy workforce.
He added that “President Tinubu was obviously touched by these projects, which demonstrate the Mbah administration’s commitment to human development, infrastructure growth, and economic prosperity. The President’s praise for Governor Mbah’s achievements is a testament to the administration’s hard work and dedication to the people of Enugu.
