Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has congratulated John Azuta Mbata, the former Senator for Rivers East, on his election as President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
Fubara remarked that Mbata’s victory at the polls in Enugu on Friday reflects his widespread acceptance as a distinguished Nigerian known for his exemplary character and integrity.

The Governor noted that the substantial support demonstrated by the delegates signifies their strong confidence in Mbata’s capability to lead Ohanaeze Ndigbo towards progress during this important period.
Fubara extended his best wishes to Mbata, expressing hope for his success in advancing national cohesion and fostering harmonious cooperation based on mutual respect within the Igbo community and beyond.
