Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has announced the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.
The announcement was made by the Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, in a statement released today from Akure, the state capital.
While most of the cabinet members have been dismissed, two key figures have been spared due to the critical nature of their responsibilities: the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Kayode Ajulo, SAN, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Omowunmi Isaac.
All cabinet members affected by this sweeping decision are now required to hand over all government properties in their custody to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.
In his statement, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the EXCO members for their dedication and contributions to the development of Ondo State during his administration, wishing them well in their future endeavours.
