Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has narrowly dodged an alleged assassination attempt, just days after his release from Kuje prison.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday as the singer was leaving a club in Lagos State’s Victoria Island area.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Darlington disclosed that unknown gunmen fired at his car multiple times, leaving it severely damaged.
The footage revealed bullet holes in the rear of the vehicle, providing clear evidence of the attack.
“Long face sent killers my way, and I haven’t even posted anything. Bro, is this necessary? You tried to take my life. Really?” he said, visibly shaken in the video.
