The notorious billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, better known as Evans, found himself back in the courtroom on Thursday, January 30, 2025, facing grave charges for the murder of two police officers.
Accompanied by his co-defendant, Joseph Emeka, Evans was not only contending with accusations of murder but also faced the chilling charge of attempting to kidnap Chief Obianodo Vincent, the prominent owner of Young Shall Grow Transport Company.
Before Justice Adenike Coker, the pair were re-arraigned on a five-count charge encompassing both murder and attempted kidnapping.
Both defendants entered pleas of not guilty, setting the stage for a trial that promises to expose the dark depths of their criminal enterprise.
