The Enugu State Government, through the Enugu SME Center, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy’s 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program, has launched the Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program—a fully funded training initiative aimed at equipping Enugu youths with globally relevant technology skills.
The ETT program offers world-class training in six (6) high-demand tech tracks, empowering participants with skills needed to thrive in today’s digital economy

-Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning
-Product Management
Speaking on the initiative, Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital Economy & MSMEs / Director-General, Enugu SME Center, emphasized the state’s commitment to positioning Enugu as a leading tech talent hub in Nigeria.
“Technology is the future, and we are ensuring that Enugu is at the forefront of digital innovation. The Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program is designed to empower our young people with cutting-edge skills that will not only make them employable but also equip them for entrepreneurship in the global tech ecosystem. This initiative aligns with His Excellency Dr. Peter Mbah’s vision of building a digitally empowered workforce that will drive economic growth and prosperity for Enugu State,” Chilo-Offiah stated.
The ETT program is open to all youths in Enugu State, with training centers strategically located across the state to ensure accessibility for all participants. The program will run for four (4) months, during which participants will receive hands-on training and mentorship from industry experts.
According to Mr. Francis Sani, Program Coordinator, 3MTT, Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, the 3MTT program was created to bridge Nigeria’s digital skills gap and ensure that Nigerian youths are equipped for the jobs of the future.
“The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy is committed to building a strong digital workforce, and this partnership with Enugu State Government represents a significant step towards achieving that goal. The Enugu Tech Talent (ETT) Program will provide participants with in-demand skills that align with global industry needs, ensuring they can compete for both local and international opportunities,” Sani said.
