Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah of Enugu State has been commended for prioritising the well-being of the people of Mburubu in his infrastructural overhaul of the state.
Chief Dr. Jerry Patrick Onuokaibe, CEO of First Choice Afro Villa Ltd and Mburubu Construction Company, shared this sentiment in a viral video posted on his social media platforms on Sunday.
He noted that throughout the community’s history, government presence has often been scant, with successive administrations neglecting them. However, with Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah at the helm, the residents have begun to experience the benefits of democracy.
Standing on the site of the ongoing road construction in Mburubu, which features dual drainage systems, Dr. Onuokaibe remarked that this marks a promising turn, as Governor Mbah has initiated the construction of the 12.96km Nomeh-Mburubu-Nara Road and the 7.20km Mburubu-Nkereffi Road.

He highlighted that these infrastructural projects not only provide relief to the residents but also create economic opportunities, facilitating transportation, commerce, and social interactions among neighbouring communities.
According to him, these developmental strides have instilled a renewed sense of belonging among the people in the affairs of Enugu State.
Dr. Onuokaibe urged the youths, stakeholders, and the entire Mburubu community to protect and support the ongoing projects, ensuring their successful completion for the benefit of future generations by offering the contractors necessary support, particularly concerning security.
He asserted that Mburubu is now fully integrated into the developmental agenda of the state, thanks to Governor Mbah’s committed leadership.
As he congratulated Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah on his upcoming 53rd birthday on March 17th, Dr. Onuokaibe prayed for continued wisdom and strength for the Governor to lead the state towards further success. He characterised Mbah’s leadership as people-oriented and encouraged the citizens of Enugu to sustain their support for his administration.
