Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has suspended three Commissioners, according to Newsmax Nigeria.
The three Commissioners have been suspended for one month due to their unapproved absence from the day’s meeting.
The suspended Commissioners are:
1. Honourable Solomon Azi, Commissioner for Grants and Donor Agencies.
2. Rt. Honourable Victor Uzoma Chukwu, Commissioner for Environment.
3. Honourable Barrister Ikeuwa Omebe, Commissioner for Rural Development.
The Governor has directed that the suspended Commissioners forfeit all privileges associated with their offices for the duration of their suspension.
