ANAMMCO, a leading vehicle manufacturing company in Nigeria, has made a notable impression at the 36th Enugu International Trade Fair by unveiling its latest offering, the Matador Pickup truck.

The Company’s General Manager (Sales), Mr. Olalekan Sanyaolu, addressed journalists at the Enugu International Trade Fair pavilion, highlighting the key features of the new vehicle, which is available exclusively in 4×4 drive with both manual and automatic transmission options.

The Matador pickup is an all-terrain vehicle designed to navigate Nigeria’s diverse on-road and off-road terrains with ease. Built specifically for the Nigerian market, the vehicle combines high performance with a strong emphasis on safety.

Sanyaolu stressed that ANAMMCO’s participation in the trade fair is intended to showcase the Matador to the Nigerian automobile market.

The response to the new vehicle has been overwhelmingly positive, with a notable increase in exhibitors, existing customers, and potential buyers visiting the ANAMMCO pavilion to explore the Matador.

Key features of the Matador include:

– Advanced technology
– Optimum performance
– Superb fuel efficiency
– Spacious double cabin
– Multimedia display screen
– Reverse camera
– Customised booth cover

Sanyaolu also highlighted the strategic locations of ANAMMCO’s 3S shops (Sales, Services, and Support) in Enugu, Lagos, and Abuja. These 3S shops are robustly supported by an extensive network of affiliate workshops from GUO Transport and other accredited dealers nationwide. The unrivalled aftersales service network positions ANAMMCO as the preferred choice for commercial vehicle fleet operators.

Expressing optimism about the future of commercial vehicle production and assembly in Nigeria, Sanyaolu noted the country’s heavy reliance on road transport for the movement of passengers, goods, and services.

ANAMMCO continues to provide a comprehensive range of services within Nigeria’s automotive industry, including vehicle production, third-party assembly contracts, commercial vehicle sales, spare parts sales, vehicle refurbishments, workshop and field services, vehicle body building, training, and consulting. These services ensure market-leading uptime and minimised operational costs.

Additionally, the Director of Corporate Services, Mr. Uche Okeke, praised Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for his innovative, practical, and people-oriented governance. He remarked, “I will not miss the opportunity of appreciating the commitment of His Excellency, Peter Mbah, to job and wealth creation through strategic engagement of the private sector.”

“ANAMMCO is one of the major beneficiaries of His Excellency’s patronage domestication. His steadfast stance on if it can be done in Enugu, why take it elsewhere, is uncommon in Nigeria.”

He further noted, “The refurbishment and re-engineering of the Coal City shuttle buses project is a classic case of His Excellency’s masterclass in maximum utilisation of available resources for cost-effectiveness. The project is creating both direct and indirect employment, providing skills development for youths, and attracting investment to the state.”

“His leadership inspired us to boldly showcase the ANAMMCO brand as proudly Nigerian and a star of Enugu State. ANAMMCO is an indigenous brand not only in name but also in local production capacity. The sustained support of the government will lead to significant technology transfer and development in the Nigerian automotive sector in the near future.”

Further discussing ANAMMCO’s presence at the trade fair, Okeke stated, “Enugu is the home of ANAMMCO,” emphasising the company’s pride in aligning with anything related to Enugu.

“This trade fair is special to us because it is the first time ANAMMCO is presenting its own brand, which was not the case in previous years. The Matador pickup is the first of many products to follow from the ANAMMCO Motors localisation mandate. It represents high performance with the trusted sturdy build of Dongfeng Automobile and is powered by world-class Mitsubishi engine technology.”

“We are here to showcase the Matador to the state, citizens and residents, the business community, security agencies, the military, and paramilitary.”
