In a surprising statement, Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has indicated that President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will complete two terms in office, totalling eight years.
This remark comes amidst a lack of apparent interest from Eno in his party’s prospects of reclaiming power at the national level in 2027.
Eno, who was elected in 2023 under the banner of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made this statement during the launch of the Akwa Ibom section of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project on Tuesday afternoon.
