In a significant political move, the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has announced plans to organise a grand endorsement rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu ahead of the 2027 general elections. The rally, which aims to mobilise an impressive five million citizens from across the South East geopolitical zone, is set to take place in Abia State.
Comrade Goodluck Ibem, President General of COSEYL, expressed the group’s enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “Our coalition is committed to showcasing the exceptional leadership of President Tinubu and Senator Kalu. This rally will serve as a platform for the people to express their support and highlight the positive transformations that have occurred under their leadership.”
The coalition believes that the endorsement rally is crucial in building momentum for the 2027 campaigns. Comrade Okey Nwaoru, Publicity Secretary of COSEYL, added, “The people of the South East are very pleased with the transformational contributions of Senator Kalu. His efforts have significantly impacted our region, and we are confident they will lead to a remarkable 90 percent electoral victory for President Tinubu.”
Senator Kalu has been recognised for his dedication to the betterment of the South East, with initiatives ranging from the construction and renovation of schools to significant investments in agriculture and youth empowerment programmes. “Senator Kalu has proven to be a beacon of progress,” remarked Comrade Ibem. “His unwavering commitment to our people has fostered a sense of unity, trust, and development.”
The coalition anticipates that the endorsement rally will galvanise support and reinforce the South East’s position as a strong pillar for both President Tinubu and Senator Kalu in the upcoming elections. As preparations continue, COSEYL remains optimistic about the future and the potential for continued progress under President Tinubu’s leadership.
“With Senator Kalu leading the way, we are poised for success in the upcoming election,” concluded Comrade Nwaoru. “Together, we look forward to a bright future for our region and our nation.”
