At the end of trading on Wednesday, the naira consolidated on the gains made after the Easter holidays.
According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the naira appreciated to N1,602.3043 per dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
This is very close to the N1,602.6318 rate of Tuesday. This represents an appreciation of less than one Naira
Similarly, in the parallel market, commonly referred to as the black market, the local currency exchanged for 1608 per dollar.
