The naira on Thursday maintained the positive movement against the dollar after close of trading.
According to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian currency appreciated further to.N1,601.8226 per dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
This is a slim departure from the rate on Wednesday when the naira exchanged for N1,602.3043.
Also, in the parallel market, commonly referred to as the black market, the local currency exchanged for 1607 per dollar.
