Professor Duke Okoro, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Orogun (FEPO), declared on Saturday, April 26, 2025, the automatic employment of Miss Okwa Favour Oghenemine, the top graduate from Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU). This significant decision reflects FEPO’s dedication to academic excellence and meritocracy.

Miss Okwa, who achieved an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.95 in Mathematics, distinguished herself among 6,401 graduates during DELSU’s 17th Convocation Ceremony held in Ethiope East Local Government Area. The announcement was met with enthusiastic applause from the gathered attendees.

During the ceremony, Prof. Okoro articulated the institution’s values and mission, stating, “Today, we are witnessing not just the celebration of an outstanding graduate, but the manifestation of our belief in performance-based reward and recognition.
