The Knights of Sir Paul Chukwuma (KSP), a notable grassroots support group advocating for the gubernatorial aspirations of Sir Paul Chukwuma, have issued a warm congratulatory message to Chief Uzuegbuna Okagbue (Ezennia) following his official nomination as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the forthcoming Anambra State Governorship Election on November 5, 2025.
In a press release signed by Hon. Ikedinobi J. Rapuluchukwu (Onyeozioma Oseburuwa), Convener of KSP, the group hailed Chief Okagbue’s nomination as “a brilliant and strategic decision” that signifies the party’s dedication to youth empowerment, transformative leadership, and Sir Paul Chukwuma’s vision of fostering competent, youthful, and impactful leadership in Anambra State.
Hon. Ikedinobi praised Chief Okagbue, stating, “Chief Uzuegbuna Okagbue is a man of pedigree—young, dynamic, intellectually sound, deeply rooted in humility and values of service. His academic and professional journey is a story of excellence, resilience, impact, and distinction.”
Chief Okagbue’s educational journey began in Onitsha, where he attended International Nursery and Premier Primary Schools before progressing to the esteemed Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS), Onitsha. He subsequently attended the University of Abuja, earning a Diploma in Law, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
Following his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, Chief Okagbue embarked on a successful career with Fidelity Bank in Abuja, where he garnered numerous performance awards over the years. His foray into public service began at the invitation of former Governor Willie M. Obiano, who appointed him as Chief of Protocol in 2014. Due to his exemplary service, he was promoted in 2018 to the dual roles of Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, a position he maintained with distinction until 2022.
In his pursuit of personal growth and leadership excellence, Chief Okagbue also participated in elite executive programmes at Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School, which enhanced his strategic thinking and leadership abilities in public governance.
The KSP commended the dynamic and visionary partnership of Sir Paul Chukwuma and Chief Uzu Okagbue, declaring it the most formidable ticket in the 2025 Anambra governorship race. They stated, “This is the perfect blend of youth with great innovation, tact, experience, and energy.”
