In a resounding show of support, stakeholders from the Oji River Local Government Area convened on 28th April 2025 to review the significant progress achieved under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State.
The forum highlighted the transformative initiatives and visionary governance that have characterised Mbah’s administration.
“We are compelled by both duty and conviction to publicly commend His Excellency for the transformational leadership that has defined his tenure,” the stakeholders said.
“The indices of progress are not only visible but measurable, from massive road infrastructure development to educational reforms, including the construction of 260 Smart Schools and 260 Primary Health Care Centres.”
The stakeholders particularly praised the Governor’s proactive measures in ensuring the security of lives and property. “In a time marked by national insecurity, Enugu State has remained a sanctuary of stability and social cohesion.
“This is a testament to the Governor’s strategic policies and collaborative security architecture, which have fostered an environment conducive to economic and social growth.”
The forum concluded with a unanimous declaration that the re-election of Governor Mbah in 2027 is a “fait accompli”, reflecting the performance and goodwill that his administration has garnered among the people.
“We are fully mobilised to ensure that this mandate is renewed overwhelmingly, as a reward for excellence and a call to sustain the momentum of progress,” the stakeholders affirmed.
The Governor’s administration has notably prioritised people over politics, as evidenced by the advancements in infrastructure and social services. The stakeholders expressed their commitment to supporting the government through grassroots mobilisation and community-driven initiatives.
“Oji River stands resolutely with you, Your Excellency, in the spirit of shared responsibility and civic partnership,” they stated.
“We remain dedicated to complementing the government’s efforts for the collective aspirations of our communities.”
