A former Enugu West Senatorial aspirant, Barrister Kester Kaunda Ekwueme, has commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his “imaginative, creative, and innovative leadership,” following the successful launch of Enugu Air, the first state-owned airline in the South East.

In a congratulatory message, Barr. Ekwueme described the initiative as a bold vision and a milestone achievement that underscores the Governor’s commitment to transforming Enugu into an economic nerve centre in Nigeria.

“Your Excellency, massive congratulations to you on the successful launch of Enugu Air, a testament to your imaginative, creative and innovative leadership,” Ekwueme stated.

He lauded Mbah’s logical and strategic approach to governance, noting that the state is already reaping benefits under his administration through historic growth in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and renewed investor confidence.

“Your logical reasoning approach is already yielding remarkable results, with Enugu’s Internally Generated Revenue experiencing historic growth and your administration’s efforts towards attracting investments, creating jobs and propelling the success of our people.”

Ekwueme also noted that the establishment of Enugu Air would go beyond symbolism to deliver practical economic benefits, including employment generation and the enhancement of economic activities across the state.

“The establishment of Enugu Air will enhance employment, stimulate economic activity and position Enugu as one of the nerve centres in Nigeria.”

He expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for his “unflinching dedication to sophisticated development” and reiterated confidence in the Governor’s capacity to deliver even greater successes.

“Your Excellency, thank you so much for this unflinching dedication to sophisticated development and for making Enugu state greater than ever before. We celebrate your achievements and look forward to more success under your innovative leadership.”

Ekwueme concluded his message with renewed support for the Governor:

“Congratulations once again, Your Excellency.”
